Here to announce TCS is back and better than ever

7/27/2011 8:05:01 PM by WileOut
That's right boys and girls, the rumors were true and we are ending our 7 year vacation, scrapping the outdated name of RVT, and have assembled a team that we estimate could be the best of all time. At worst we are 3rd. TCS is back and I am now taking orders for football season packages, which includes NCAA football and NFL. Guaranteed 55% or above, or your money back, in full, wired the first business day after your subscription runs out, or sent by check....your choice*.

A Response To Nas - Illmatic = Greatest Album Ever??

3/28/2011 12:44:51 AM by WileOut
All credibility goes out the window when this is written. 99% of the best rap albums are/were underground jawns that got limited or no play on the radio.

The 2nd album Nas came out with was the "hottest thing out at the time" just because of Illmatic. If Nas had come out with It Was Written first, his second album would have had no play at all. Give me one song on that album that is as good as any song on Illmatic.

Best Rap Albums ever:

Outkast's first 3 or 4 albums. The one that won...

Beating the bookmaker without creating your own line

2/18/2010 1:09:53 PM by WileOut
I thought about putting this in the Think Tank but nah.

Let's face it, most of us don't have the time and/or ability to come up with our own line that is better than the bookmaker's line. For those of us who fit this category (which is most people gambling), lets get a discussion going on other ways to beat the bookmaker than coming up with your own line.

Many of us are smart enough to come up with a better line if we were shown how to do it, or had the time to learn to...

One way to win betting tennis

1/27/2010 2:45:01 PM by WileOut
You bet the dogs, but you do it selectively, and the main thing...FOLLOW INJURIES. Tennis obviously is one on one and injuries play a much bigger part of the game. But the lines don't reflect it sometimes. Guys like Roddick with little tweaks, and Nadal with his tendenitis. Murray should have been a -180 or so in that match. Nadal was seeded higher and public all over him so Murray was only -120 to -130. Also many people bet tennis who don't know anything about it. It really helps to have played the...

Baseball Managers

11/2/2009 5:00:04 AM by WileOut
I swear you could put a monkey in there and baseball teams would come out the same, probably a little better. Just let the players have a democracy and do what they know is the right thing to do.

I have seen Joe Girardi make possibly more mistakes than any baseball manager I have ever seen. The decision tonight to wait until the 9th to put Rivera on the mound is the tip of the iceberg.

Girardi will win a ring and will have absolutely no influence in his team winning.

Take Bobby Cox. The guy won all...

Questions about line movement

9/1/2009 12:05:01 PM by WileOut
I have 3 questions about line movement.

First question..in baseball, is most of the ML movement related to the release of the rosters? Or is it simply that the books release sometimes a wildly incorrect line? Because daily many games move A LOT.

2nd question, why do people arb out of a good line position? When you do this, you are simply taking the market shaped line. It guarantees profit today but in the long run I would think this would definitely lower your profit because you are combining a +EV bet (the original bet when...
